The Conexus Kindness Capital Fund is encouraging a return on kindness by recognizing 40 individuals and businesses with $5,000 to continue their acts of kindness.
We’re calling on you to nominate those who have responded to this pandemic in extraordinary and ordinary ways!
Nominee Eligibility Criteria
Nominations will only be evaluated if they meet the following criteria:
A. Nominee must live or operate their business in Saskatchewan
B. Nominee must be over 18 years of age
C. The act of kindness must have occurred in response to COVID-19, starting around or after March 13
D. Nominations that are missing information will not be evaluated
E. Nominations will only be accepted if submitted through the online form. Those that are delivered to Conexus branches will not be accepted

2. What is the award prize?The award prize is a $5,000 cash gift.

3. How many awards will be given?Forty individuals and businesses in Saskatchewan will be selected from a public nomination campaign.

4. Do you have to be a Conexus member to participate in the Kindness Capital?The Kindness Capital is not limited to Conexus members. Individuals and businesses across Saskatchewan are eligible to nominate and be nominated. The goals for the Kindness Capital are to mobilize continuing acts of kindness and galvanize support for those who have demonstrated the spirit of the Kindness Capital during COVID-19.

5. What are the award eligibility criteria?Nominations will only be evaluated if they meet the following criteria: Nominee must live or operate their business in Saskatchewan. 6. Can a business or individual nominate themselves?The goal for the Kindness Capital is to mobilize continuing acts of kindness. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

7. When is the deadline for nominations?Nominations will be scored in real time to give immediate cash flow to continue these acts of kindness, the program will run until August 10, unless the funds have not been distributed.

8. How will winning Kindness Capital recipients know if they’ve been selected?Conexus will contact winning Kindness Capital recipients directly.

9. How will winning Kindness Capital recipients be recognized?Kindness Capital recipients will receive $5,000 and be profiled on kindnesscapital.ca and Conexus social media channels.

10. How can I nominate an individual or a business for the Kindness Capital?It’s easy! Visit the nomination section of this website. Review the eligibility criteria. Gather any photos of the individual or business owner, and images of them doing good. Complete the online nomination form for either a business or individual.
